National Conference and Consultation 2024 “Transforming Indonesia Towards a Golden Indonesia 2045”

The Abalove Industry Building, Central Jakarta, witnessed the 2024 National Conference and Consultation. The event was attended by leaders of religious institutions, community organizations, foundations, cultural experts, lawyers and leaders of various Christian educational institutions. The event, which was held on Monday-Tuesday, June 3-4, 2024, was opened directly by Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan as the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment of the Republic of Indonesia.

The two-day conference was filled by several speakers who are experts in their various fields, such as: Mark Baliles, Ph.D. Irene Squiluci, M.Div., Dr. Jeff Hammond, Dr. Iman Santoso and Prof. Dr. Ignatius Sutapa as well as other speakers. Each speaker focused on how the church (Christianity) transforms the nation and the world through the “7 Spheres” (seven areas of service: arts, business, church, economy, family, education and government). In particular, Mark Baliles, delivered material on 5 strategic steps in transforming the nation, namely: Recruitment, Training, Connection, Strategy, Execution.

In addition to the organizing part, Foundation Pondok Kasih is also trusted as a resource person at this prestigious event. Mr. Drs. Johny R. M. Sirait, S.H. delivered material on Civil Rights Fulfillment Services (PHS) and Intelligence of the Nation’s Children (PAB), and Mr. Michael Pesik, B.A. delivered material on Youth Agents, Reconcilers, Unifiers and Nation Change (PAP3B) with the theme “Youth Identity”. Both of these areas are National Programs, have been and will continue to be carried out by the Pondok Kasih Foundation throughout Indonesia.

As a follow-up to this conference, each of the above service areas will hold regular meetings to form programs that will be implemented in several cities in Indonesia. As a service partner, Yayasan Pondok Kasih will be involved in the fields of education, family and church. This is done as a form of contribution to the achievement of the Golden Indonesia 2045. (MH).
