National Conference 2024: "Transforming Indonesia for a Golden 2045".
The 2024 National Conference and Consultation was held at the Abalove Industry Building in Central Jakarta on June 3-4, 2024. It was attended by leaders from religious institutions, community organizations, foundations, cultural experts, lawyers, and Christian educators. Coordinating Minister Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan officially opened the event.
Over two days, expert speakers such as Mark Baliles, Ph.D., Irene Squiluci, M.Div., Dr. Jeff Hammond, Dr. Iman Santoso, Prof. Dr. Ignatius Sutapa, and others shared insights on transforming the nation through the "7 Spheres": arts, business, church, economy, family, education, and government. Mark Baliles highlighted five key steps for transformation: Recruitment, Training, Connection, Strategy, and Execution.
Foundation Pondok Kasih also contributed significantly. Drs. Johny R.M. Sirait, S.H. spoke on civil rights fulfillment and youth intelligence, while Michael Pesik, B.A. addressed youth empowerment under the theme "Youth Identity." These topics are part of the foundation’s ongoing national programs across Indonesia.As a follow-up, regular meetings will be held to develop programs for implementation in cities nationwide. Pondok Kasih Foundation will focus on education, family, and church to support the vision of a Golden Indonesia by 2045. (MH).
