Strengthening Harmony: Interfaith Leaders Gather in Surabaya.

The theme of the 2025 Interfaith Gathering’s first meeting was “Reflection & Resolution.” Attendees included interfaith leaders, cultural figures, youth, BAMAG Surabaya representatives, universities, and community organizations. Mr. Syuhada Endrayono (FBM Chairman) shared the 2024 achievements and 2025 work plan. Mama Hana, Founder of the Pondok Kasih Foundation, spoke about interfaith tolerance and updates on the Bhinneka Nusantara Creativity Center in Keputih, Surabaya. Mrs. Indah Wati (Chairperson of Pondok Kasih) highlighted efforts to promote unity and emphasized the importance of collaboration for common goals.

Mr. Nurul Ansori, Secretary of East Java’s Bakesbangpol, praised the region’s unity and tolerance, which supported the smooth running of the October 2024 elections. He stressed the need to continue such interfaith dialogues.
