Construction Progress of Bhinneka Park “Nusantara Creativity Center” (NCC)

After 4 months, precisely on Saturday, June 8, 2024 the Pondok Kasih Foundation together with the East Java Provincial government, interfaith leaders and cultural experts held a groundbreaking ceremony. The construction of the NCC which is located at Jl. Medokan Keputih No. 29 Surabaya continues to progress. Pondok Kasih is very grateful to God and thanks to all those who have supported the NCC development process.

On Monday, August 19, 2024, Mama Hana as the Founder and Trustee of the Pondok Kasih Foundation received a visit from the Parish of Santa Maria Tak Bercela (SMTB) Surabaya, Mr. RD. Benedict Prima Novianto and Team at NCC. After that, on Friday, August 30, 2024, Mama Hana was visited by Rev. Lipiyus Biniluk, M.Th. (Chairman of the Papua Province FKUB) and his wife at the NCC. Mr. Lipiyus said that “the construction of the NCC is a great vision from God through Mama Hana for Indonesia. We must support it.”

Followed by the visit of Mrs. Fifi Lety Tjahaja Purnama on Friday, September 27, 2024, Mama Hana invited Mrs. Fifi to check the progress of the construction of Taman Bhinneka. Mrs. Fifi said that “this is difficult if done individually, we need many parties to join hands in order to create progress and peace for our nation, Indonesia.” After visiting the Pesta Rakyat – Bazaar organized by the Pondok Kasih Foundation on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Graha Pondok Kasih Keputih, Mama Hana invited Mr. Muhammad Zulkaidir as the Head of Sukolilo District to see the progress of the NCC construction. Mr. Zul, that is his greeting, said that “we are all families of Pondok Kasih and Seduluran Saklawase (friends forever) in Sukolilo District”. We must create peace for the common good.”

Every time she receives a visit, Mama Hana conveys the purpose of the NCC, which is to preserve, develop and increase public awareness of the richness of the beliefs and arts of the archipelago. Providing education and training space for the community. Strengthen the sense of interfaith tolerance and unity. Improve the skills and knowledge of the community in the field of entrepreneurship and urban agriculture.

As fellow children of the nation, we must work together for a better future. Hopefully, through this NCC, we will understand that the archipelago is our common home that we must decorate with love in diversity. (MH).
