Groundbreaking of the "House of Prayer" for 7 religions/beliefs at Bhinneka Park, "Nusantara Creativity Center" (NCC).

On Saturday, June 8, 2024, the Pondok Kasih Foundation conducted the groundbreaking of the "House of Prayer" for seven religions/beliefs (Islam, Christianity, Catholicism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism, and Penghayat Kepercayaan) at Bhinneka Park, Nusantara Creativity Center (NCC) in Keputih, Surabaya. The event was attended by interfaith leaders, government representatives (including Mr. Dr. Bobby Soemiarsono, SH, M.Si., Acting Secretary of East Java Province), cultural experts, and other guests.The NCC aims to preserve and promote awareness of the diverse beliefs and arts of the archipelago. It provides space for community education and training in various fields, strengthens interfaith tolerance and unity, enhances skills in entrepreneurship and urban farming, and serves as a platform for local small businesses to showcase their products.Through the NCC, may we deepen our understanding that the archipelago is our shared home, which we must nurture with love and respect for diversity.
